According to Shanghai's March 12 message, the National Bureau of Statistics, preliminary figures released Thursday showed that China's January-February of synthetic rubber (Information, Quotes) production totaled 379,000 tons, unchanged from the same period last year, in February of synthetic rubber output was 185,000 tons the same period last year dropped 3.4 percent. 

Data show that 1-month 2 tire production the same period last year dropped 13.7 percent, to 69,390,000; February tire output of 38.3 million, representing a 4.6 percent increase over the same period last year.
