Pirelli to raise prices Jan. 1

ROME, Ga. (Dec. 4, 2009)—Due to escalating raw material costs, Pirelli Tire L.L.C. will increase prices in the U.S. Jan. 1 by up to 4.5 percent on all passenger and light truck tires, excluding the company’s P4/P5 touring lines.

Pirelli raised prices 10 percent on the P4 Four Seasons and Cinturato P5 passenger tire lines on Nov. 1 because of the increased import duties on tires from China.
